Caring for Your
New Piercings
Proper aftercare is the key to a smooth, complication-free healing process

Clean Twice Daily
Spray sterile saline solution on both sides of each piercing, morning and evening. Saline spray is available for purchase in our store.

Don't Touch or Twist
Avoid touching the earrings with unwashed hands. Never twist or rotate the jewelry — this disrupts healing and introduces bacteria.

Protect During Activities
Keep hair products, shampoo, and sunscreen away from the piercing area. Cover ears during swimming for the first 4–6 weeks.

Follow Up With Us
Schedule a downsize at 4–6 weeks. We'll assess healing and let you know if it's safe to change jewelry.
Parent & Child Piercing FAQs
Who can book a mommy and me ear piercing?
Any parent or legal guardian with 1–3 children: moms, dads and guardians are all welcome. Grandparents and friends can come along too, but a parent or legal guardian must be there for the whole appointment.
Do we get pierced at the same time?
In the same visit, one at a time, by the same piercer. Many parents go first, so their child can see it's quick and okay.
How much does it cost?
Everyone pays our regular menu price: baby lobes $160 a pair (6 months–4 years), kids 5–10 $120 a pair, and adult lobes from $50, with implant-grade titanium jewelry included.
Do I need a deposit?
No. You pay at the studio.
Can mother and daughter get matching earrings?
Yes. We stock solid 14k gold studs, and matching pairs for mother and daughter (or any parent and child) are a favourite. Regular prices.
What do I need to bring?
Your photo ID (driver's license, state ID, passport or military ID) and a document for each child showing their name and date of birth, such as a birth certificate, passport, health insurance card, vaccine record or school ID. Legal guardians bring guardianship papers too. If your last name is different from your child's, please bring the birth certificate.
When can we come in?
Mondays 9–11am and Tuesdays 11am–1pm at our Bay Park studio, and Thursdays and Fridays 9–11am at our La Jolla studio.
Can we come on a weekend?
The Parent & Child Morning runs on weekdays. On weekends, book our regular baby and child piercing services.
What if there are four or more of us?
Book a Private Ear Party instead: two private hours for 4–8 guests at our Bay Park studio.
